Description

The National Sales Director (NSD) is responsible for overall sales strategy and sales team performance at national level. He defines sales targets, coordinates regional sales managers, and ensures that sales actions are aligned with the company's overall strategy. He is the guarantor of sales targets and market share for all supermarket outlets.

Main tasks

  1. Development and implementation of the national sales strategy ;
  2. Sales team management and development;
  3. Sales performance monitoring and analysis;
  4. Negotiating major trade agreements ;
  5. Close collaboration with marketing for promotions and product launches;
  6. Relationship management with distributors and key partners ;
  7. Monitoring and control of sales budgets.

Training

  • 5 years' higher education in business, management or a related field.
  • Additional training in team management or corporate strategy is a plus.

Skills

  • Proficiency in CRM tools and sales management software.
  • Strong ability to analyze data and make decisions based on these analyses.

Compensation

The base salary is often between €80,000 and €120,000 per year, with performance bonuses and other benefits, which can bring the total remuneration to over €150,000.
