Description

The CHR Sales Manager is responsible for developing and managing sales of a brand or product range to establishments in the CHR (Café, Hotel and Restaurant) sector. Their role is both strategic and operational: they identify new business opportunities, prospect for new customers, negotiate contracts and ensure customer loyalty in the restaurant and hotel sector. They spend much of their time in the field, in direct contact with professionals, with the aim of maximizing the visibility and sales of their products.

Main tasks

  1. Prospect for new customers (hotels, restaurants, cafés) and identify business opportunities.
  2. Negotiate and sell products adapted to the needs of CHR establishments and their customers.
  3. Follow up and retain existing customers, by developing a relationship of trust, proactively responding to their needs and ensuring quality after-sales service.
  4. Analyze the local market and competition to adjust offers.
  5. Participate in sales initiatives and industry events (trade shows, promotions, etc.).

Training

Bac +2 to Bac +5 in Commerce, Sales or Management (business schools, BTS MUC, etc.).

Skills

  • Mastery of negotiation and sales techniques.
  • Knowledge of the hospitality sector and associated products/services.
  • CRM tools and customer portfolio management.

  • Commercial acumen and results orientation.

Experience

  • Possibility of doing this job as a junior/alternate.
  • 2 to 5 years' experience in B2B sales, ideally in the CHR sector for a senior profile.

Career prospects

Progress to Sales Manager, Sales Director or Head of Sales.

Compensation

Between €30,000 and €45,000 gross per year, depending on experience and company.
