Who is Hoope?
Hoope is a brand founded by two food industry engineers, Christophe and Alexis, based in Toulouse. The company offers a complete range of organic, healthy, and 100% natural food products: crunchy cereals, biscuits, filled mueslis, plant-based drinks, spirulina flakes in sticks, and fruit purees in pouches.
At the core of its differentiation, Hoope uses spirulina to enrich its products with essential nutrients, thanks to its exceptional content of protein, iron, vitamins, and antioxidants. This approach combines indulgence and health benefits while being part of an eco-responsible initiative. The brand also actively fights against food waste by offering up to a 40% discount on certain products.
Present through a national distribution network in supermarkets and hypermarkets, Hoope relies on a sales team of 6 people: 5 regional sales managers and 1 sales director.
The initial challenge: inadequate tools in the face of growth
Initially, Hoope's sales team relied on Excel files to manage all of their activity. As Alexis Lesly-Veillard, co-founder, describes it, Excel had "all the flaws in the world." A technological solution was subsequently put in place, but it quickly proved insufficient as growth accelerated and customer data multiplied.
The main problem? These tools were only accessible on computers, which severely limited the mobility of field teams. Sales reps could not update information in real time from the stores, and the continuity of actions between visits remained loose. For management, the lack of centralized data made it difficult to understand what was actually happening in the field.
Why Sidely?
Hoope was looking for a solution that combined mobility, simplicity, and efficiency. The presentation of Sidely's mobile and tablet application quickly met these expectations. Alexis Lesly-Veillard explains: "We found the Sidely solution immediately interesting. As soon as we showed the mobile app to our teams, everyone said: 'Yes, we'll take it, it's fine with us, it will be easy to use,' so there was no resistance."
Adoption: a smooth and frictionless deployment
Hoope took the gamble of showing the application to its teams beforehand to ensure rapid buy-in. This approach paid off. Sidely's intuitive ergonomics won them over immediately, without the need for user training. Alexis highlights: "The basic tool is ergonomic enough to be used without training."
The integration of existing data went quickly: "Honestly, within a few days, the tool was integrated. It was super fast." This rapid deployment allowed Hoope to benefit immediately from the improvements brought by the solution.
How Sidely transforms Hoope's sales organization
On a daily basis, Hoope's regional sales managers use Sidely to plan their routes much more efficiently. Thanks to the integrated map visualization, they quickly identify the stores to visit by area and organize their trips in an optimized way. This saves them valuable time when preparing each route.
Once in the store, sales reps fill out forms and enter data directly via the mobile app. This information, enriched with photos, is uploaded in real time and becomes accessible to the entire team: regional sales managers, the sales director, and headquarters teams. This centralization creates a continuity of action that previous tools did not allow.
The concrete benefits
Better route planning: regional sales managers save time in planning. The interactive map allows them to visualize all of their stores and structure their visits according to a clear geographic logic.
Precise field monitoring and transparency: thanks to audits and photos, management immediately understands what is happening in stores. Alexis puts it well: "Thanks to audits and photos, I understand why it worked or didn't work in a store. Discussions with my sales reps are much smoother because I understand what's happening on the ground."
Smooth sales execution: order taking integrated directly into the application allows sales reps to enter orders in-store without going back to the office, thereby gaining responsiveness and execution fluidity.
A revealing example
Before Sidely, regional sales managers prepared their routes by cross-referencing multiple Excel files, without a map view. This was time-consuming and inefficient. Today, they plan directly from the web interface by visualizing all of their stores on a map. As Alexis explains: "It doesn't seem like much, but since everything is plotted on a map, the sales reps know very well which area they want to cover. When they prepare their route, they know where the stores are and plan accordingly. So, they program a route very quickly."
The global impact: a modernized and structured sales organization
By replacing its old tools with Sidely, Hoope bridged the gap between the field and management. Sales reps benefit from total mobility and can work effectively in-store, while management finally has an overview of sales activity.
This transformation has enabled the company to gain responsiveness, autonomy, and transparency. Tracking stores by status allows Hoope to focus its efforts on strategic points of sale and references to be developed. Above all, the immediate adoption by the teams demonstrated that technology, when intuitive and mobile-friendly, is not a constraint but an accelerator of sales performance.

Alexis co-founded Sidely after several years of service as a sales director. To understand what builds, or breaks, a salesperson's performance, he conducted more than 100 telephone interviews with field sales representatives. At Sidely, he transforms this raw knowledge into concrete support, based on facts rather than assumptions.
